Looks like you had a great time meeting strangers and bringing home crabs!

We got 71 crabs out of 3 traps...

After chatting all the boat guys up at the cleaning station it was amazing how well everyone was doing, and the grade of crab was unbelievable.  Although I still don't understand why the shuck tha crab right there.  All that good butter going in the dumpster.  :smt011   :smt003  One guy was going out to pull some pots up and bring them home because he just didn't need that many soaking.

Hope you're good Freddie.  Good to know you got out on that day also + crab.

Nice short term haul. Next time you pull up a big red like that, don't toss it back. They are sweeter than the dungies, and are bonuses that don't count in your dungie limit.

Good to know...I'd heard that the dungies had more meat, but no one ever said anything about the taste of red rock crab.

Did you have that Bon Jovi/Deadliest Catch song running thru your head as you pulled your traps?
