spearfishing

anyone interesting in a trip sometime soon to try to speak some rockies?

 
Rockfish have left the building until May or so..........

I'm just waiting for a break in the swells...

Pat, spearfishing for RCG and lings is open year round, as well as shore fishing for these species.

Just checked the regs.
I was confused (and Bill was too):

RCG is open year round for divers/shorebased anglers.

Lings are different  See Below:

Lingcod Boat-based Anglers3:
Open: July-Oct
Closed: Jan-June, Nov, Dec
Divers, Shore-based Anglers3:
Open: Apr-Nov
Closed: Jan-Mar, Dec
 Same as RCG Complex above  2 fish per person 24" total length
