For your comfort yakfishin OTW there’s absolutely nothing better than the good old trusty standby of rubber waders. Now there was some guy who made a video of himself splashin around in a hot tub with his waders on and he said to pull that wader belt tight so no water can get in. But I say pushah! That just wouldn’t be comfortable my friends. So what I want you to do is try my method which I invented all by myself, cause I’m brilliant like that, and lube up the top seal with some of that good quality Pantene Shampoo. Now I know those crazy trophy ab divers would like to claim they thought of this first to get into their open cell foam suits, aint that sound like a frickin sponge?, but that’s just pure bs. I’ve personally been ab divin for like at least a couple of years now in my Pantene lubed waders with zero leakage cept a little pee-pee of course. I just take a used straw from MickeyD’s and suck out all the air fore I dive down for my snails. Now please believe me when I tell you that I just didn’t risk my life divin in my waders for snails without pre-testin them in the ocean. No I got 20, that’s right 20 years, surfin on my Lighting Bolt Mark Richards surfboard, yes it is pink…..and green, in surf up to 15 feet and these suckers have never let me down cause I always pop right up like a cork. Course now duck divin's a bitch but.....gotta luv the comfort! Shit I’ve swam from Chrissy to the Rock and back, to OB, at peak current with 9ft of run-out and I swear they’ve only made me swim faster. Always the envy of every Tri-athlete. So again, and again, please believe me brothers that when your yak sinks in deep water, and there’s no-one round, and the current’s ripping you out to Hawaii faster than a G-6.…. YOU’VE GOT ABSOLUTELY NOTHIN TO WORRY ABOUT IN YOUR RUBBER WADERS CAUSE BOY THEY’RE COMFORTABLE!  Your Pal…..Wade.  :smt003

PS: And compared to boardshorts they're pretty dog-gone safe too!  :smt002

I apoligize my friends. I mis-read the forum title as "Sarcasm First" instead of "Safety First".  :smt006 jim

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

That's funny I thought you were the Black Leather G-String type of Fella?? :smt013 Leather? That would provide exactly .5 seconds of protection from hypothermia.
You and Art make a fine Team Nice article guys :smt038 If you mean the safety one and not this 'comfort' satire then you can thank every NCKA member that ever shared safety tips or gear cause it's compiled from many many NCKA posts and people & I thank them all.  :smt001
