They're bitting at San Luis Res

I'm headed for San Luis Thursday. A lot of 3to4Lbs and a 19lb er. I checked the Blanton board and reliable folks say it's so.

Most definitely stripers. For the flyrod I use clouser and deceivers, about 3/0, for conventional-- rattletraps. this time of year you need to be able to get deep.

how deep does the rattletrap need to go?

As deep as the fish are. If you don't have a fish finder start a foot from the bottom and work up.
