When we go out to Sears Point, oh, excuse me. Infineon Raceway. Its such a kick to be close to the burnouts . Damn near makes your heart stop. A couple of years ago we saw the Oakley car blow its whole body off half-way down the strip. Great shots Eric. Glad you had some fun away from the store.

I felt it too. Imagine that, Racinrob at the races. Weather was really nice down there. Was there to cheer my friend on who I lost to in the final race of the year. He was racing for a national championship. My other friend was driving a Top Alcolhol Funny Car. He red lit first round on Sat. When were you there? If I knew you were going I could have hooked you up with a place to stay. My dad lives 5 mins away. If you go back down again I'll hook you up. I should be at Infineon this coming year to race super comp. We can have a bbq at my pit. My Funny car friend will be there racing too.

my friend Tami is the marketing Director for Al-anabi racing.. she is hot. and they have Larry Dixion and Dale something or another..

One of my customers set me up with tickets in the TOP ELIMINATOR CLUB.
Section AA Row 20 Seats 13&14.
This was my first time to NHRA, but I plan to head back yearly.
I will also be heading to Fontana for a taste of NASCAR.
The hook-up and tailgating/BBQ sounds great.

  Circa 1972,

  I had an aunt (on Step fathers side of family) her & her husband owned both a funny car and dragster named "California Charger"   The funny car came to the Fremont dragstrip one weekend and I got to go in the pit area with my aunt and watch the crew prep the car for a race. I was in "Hog heaven"
  I can say now, I understand the meaning "Can't hear your self think"  after watching my very frst live funny car drag race.  Up to that point I had only ever watched them on TV and had no idea of the noise they really creat! What a rush for an 11year old at the time. I can only imagin that there as loud today as they were almost 40 years ago.  Her car lost the heat it wa in to the "Hawaiin (Something, can't remember it's full name now)"
