Ok I'm looking to do some fishing tomorrow and the range is from the bay north pretty much.  I am willing to fish for whatever is biting and will be a good time, but am thinking salmon.  I am in bodega bay and would prefer to head N.  Klamath river, any other suggestions?

Wow...Klamath is 6+ hours drive.   You could try American river for Salmon (see Ricci's report below):

ya, im still kinda green to the area, didn't realize how far the klamath was.   :smt044  American is looking nice, that report looks awesome.  How does the american compare to the eel and trinity, i really like the area up that way?

Haven't try the Eel river yet (one of these days I'll) but I'm sure Eric/BlackAb can tell you for sure if you PM him.

if you are just looking for a quick place to fish, lake mendo is a good choice for our area, about 1.75 hours from bodega, has striper, smallie, lmb and crappie, klamath is pretty much over but the smith and trinity would be my choices for anadromous fish, cameron

I agree with Cameron. Lake Mendo is a great place to be this time of year. Or you could go kayakduckhunting on the estero. Or you could stay home and use your money to replace chadrock's radio that donated to daveyjones.
