Save The Head Of Every Legal Sized White Seabass And You Could Win!

The Ocean Resources Enhancement & Hatchery Program (OREHP) has released over 1 million hatchery-reared white seabass since 1986. Each of these fish has an internal tag implanted in their head. Most of these fish are now legal size and available to catch!

We are asking you to turn in the head of every white seabass you catch that is equal to or greater than 28 inches in length. This will enter you into a drawing for a chance to win a bi-annual $500 cash prize.

It is very important to the OREHP Program to recover these heads. When you turn in a white seabass head, you will need to fill out a slip with the date and location where the fish was caught and your name and contact information. If the head you donate contains a tag we will use your contact information to notify you of such information as spawn date, released date, and where the fish was released.
