Hi Everyone.. I just wanted to introduce myself and ask a quick question..  My name is Nathan, I live up in Clearlake, dont have a kayak yet however im working on it.. I flyfish the streams but pretty much stick to bait/lures on the bay/ocean and here in clearlake.
Ive been reading the forums for the last six months and I have to give everyone props for such a well run forum and the positive vibes that everyone here gives off.  Right now , i have a 14 ft aluminum but would like to get into the kayak scene , as I dont have a truck for now.

Beyond that im a fishing nut , would really like to be up on the trinity going for steelhead , but its blown out .

My first newbie question is in regards to Where is the best place to pump for ghost shrimp? I mean generally.  On the bay or out on the coast?

Thanks , and looking forward to being here for a long time!

Bay sandy beach with some mud.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Thanks Fellows..  Ive been up here since June.   The biggest bass ive caugt is about 7 pounds up here..  My buddy got a 12 pounder that we hooked in deep tules ,, weighed up on the digital scale hes got.   I dont eat the fish out of here though,  maybe id eat a deep fried crappie or two..     Ive been wanting to fish Colusa, heard there are some big strippers over there..  But I like Mendo the best .

missed the head on this shot, and i was pretty slobed out .. haha..   nice bass though
