I have a brand new Hobie paddle, still in the plastic for sale.  $80.

I lost my old paddle this summer, bought a new one, then found my old paddle three days later in the delta.  New paddle is from the 2011 Hobie Sport package.

Now that I have my upgrade 2011 Hobie Sport, I'm not sure what to do with the old one.  It is a 2008, all old stuff on it (clips, lever rudder system, ff, and rod holder for trolling).  I did buy a new seat, new wheels, new Mirage drive, and new Turbo fins this summer (I put over $800 into it this summer).  It has a small leak in it somewhere that could be fixed.  It is scratched up and fadded, but has some good delta bass mojo built right in.  I kind of want to keep it (as a buddy boat), but I thought I'd put it up to get feelers for price.  Anyone interested, let me know.  I might be willing to part it out if that gets more $$ than the whole package.

Yep...no takers so far.  Thanks for the bumb.

Here is how I would part it out...

New paddle--$75
4 month old drive unit, with turbo fins--$400
4 month old seat (one broken clip)--$50
4 month old Hobie wheels--$40
2008 Hobie Sport, (in the hard to find faded Blue, like pre-faded jeans we all bought in the 80's)--$400

The yak comes with a FF and scotty rod holder and a slow leak.

I would rather sell the whole thing for $800 if I can.  Otherwise I would just consider keeping it.

(Jeff--any tips on selling stuff, let me know.  You seem to do well on this site  :smt001.)

Just wondering if you could get it fixed under warranty?  800 seems like a steal and you could get more without issues.

I can post pictures...and I will...after I finish with grades.

I'm gonna try to fix the leak, again, my time doing repairs is limited due to school/end of trimester.  If I can find the leak, I'll look into the warranty too.

Thanks guys.

fill it up w/water and roll her in flour......like pre-sex w/a big woman. Marine Tex makes a two-part epoxy that is good for below the waterline and is flexible. I'm plugging mine up with it.
