Ocean cove fishing?

I will be camping at ocean cove this weekend with a few friends.  Wondering if any one knows if there is any fishing in the area on land? None of my buddies has a kayak so I'm leaving mines home.    Heard of rock fishing of the cliffs but not sure where our how safe that is. Any info would be great thanks!

I have never had any luck whatsoever from the shore but.....I've seen some fish caught from the rocks on the left side of the cove itself, from the rocks in front of the campground near the boundary with Stillwater SP, and also from the rocks on the north side of Stillwater Cove. But if I were you I'd bring the yak, wetsuit/pfd/ability to swim, and either go solo or look for other kayakers in the am that are launching. Wx forecast looks good for saturday as of right now!
