Was actually thinking about retiring from wsb after reading, but after reading aka-Kimo's successful outing, LingKing and I have decided to hunt for wsb again. Thanks for pulling me back in again aka-Kimo lol!!  :smt044

Since I still have to work at 3pm tomorrow, I'm planning to be at LP at 5:45am, launch no later than 6:30am, and start paddling back in around noon. It gives me time to make it to work, and hopefully (just maybe), Ryan or I will get lucky again :D

Sorry for the last minute plan, but company is ALWAYS welcome!! :D

After kimo's report I'm shifting to MB. But where is LP? Can't get there as early as you guys, but can catch up.

Thanks

Ben

Sorry to post here, as I didn't want to write a report since I and everyone else didn't catch anything while I was out there except 1 lucky guy  :smt003

Maybe he'll be willing to share and post a report soon :D

Good luck to all who plan to go!!

All it takes is one lucky bite... just don't eff it up!  :smt044

Another yakker landed one midday. I saw a PB throw his WSB in the h20 to keep it fresh - a disaster in the making.

Likewise bro!  It was good seeing you and Ryan again otw.  Congrats to Joel for his first salt trip... tell him to reg!  :smt003

I also wanted to pass along intel for those going in the next few days.  The fleet was in front of LP in the morning and thinned out to 8 boats or so at 1pm.  There was a Jelly invasion!  It was manageable until the drift picked up and you couldn't keep them off your line. Avoid trebles when this happens or just forgo the stinger?   Also, I tried jigging for squid but couldn't get any after 20 minutes or so.. seemed like others were having trouble making bait as well - or at least in deeper waters.

Good luck guys!  I might be there on Sunday, but I've been fishing way too much and probably should be spending more time at home.  :smt001
