Sac Area meet and greet?

OK I'll admit it, I don't have the most experience putting stuff like this together.
I've noticed other events have a "roll call" so maybe that's what's in order here.

I'm in for next Wed. 10/06 at 7pm at Mizu in Natomas/Truxel area (please see Naoaki's link on page 1 for Mizu location, menu etc.)

Let's get a head count of who's in so we can maybe reserve a table, etc.

Should be fun with a good mix of kayakers, anglers, sushi and beers.

I didin't get home til 10pm last night (13.5 hrs work).  way too many carcass this year... so I don't know I can make it.  If I can, I would like to...

Yes it's true, the meet and greet is on for tonight.
So far 2-3 people are in for Sushi, with a couple of you "potentials"
I'll be there right at 7pm and ready to grub!

Didn't get home until 8pm.   I picked up Ashley & went there, but I realized that I didn't know how you guys look like (I should have worn my NCKA hoodies)...   & I thought you guys might already left so went to Bj's instead...

Naoaki, so sorry we didn't meet-up!

It would have been great to dine with some NCKA legends!

Before I left home I actually made a name tag that said "NCKA novofish" out of a piece of masking tape to wear on my shirt Then I thought, uh - kinda gooberish. I should've said what kinda hat I was wearing or something. I hope more folks didn't show up wondering where we were!

There were 3 of us, and as I expected the fishing talk, tales and tall Sapporo's made it hard to hit the buffet as hard as I probably should have.

Mizu's was really good. I would definitely go back. Poki, seaweed salad, tempura veggies, scallops, crab legs, nigiri, steak, etc. etc. OK - I guess I hit the buffet fairly hard.

Striper Slayer and exhibita: Good times guys! Thanks for making this happen! Let's fish next week!
