finaly dragged my 2003 PSE Diamonback out of storage and wanted to update it. Called Sensei ChuckE and asked for advice on where to go around here. As usual Chuck came thru like a champ. He came by the house and we drove down to Newark to archeryonly.net and gave the old girl an update. New Release (always shot fingers) New Quad arrow rest. New rubber for the Peep. New sixpack of Carbon Sticks (compared to Beer can Aluminums)all installed and adjusted came to way less then I was expecting! Fired 7-8 Vollys 1/2 @ 11 yrds 1/2 @ 20 yrds. WOW!!! such a difference. Its been 4-5 yrs since I put her up and the muscles specific to shooting sure got weak. I was shakin like a leaf. I walked out SOOO Happy with the results.
Chuck, you Da Man!!! The guys @ Archery Only were the bomb also.

The only good hay bale is a dead hay bale...

Briones Archers have a nice 3D course at Briones Regional Park. It's about a mile walk from the parking lot. Kind of gives you a Sherwood Forest feel.

I remember when I switched to carbon, groups got a little tighter, and arrow flight looked so sweet.

We used to use fat aluminums for cutting lines at the indoor tourneys.

Shootin good does make you happy!
