So I'm sitting here thinking about rockfish jigs and other ways to make em after reading that knife jig post.  I remember a friend of mine does glass art, and I thought of how cool a hand made glass jig would be.  I did a bit of research and you can get leaded glass or flint glass that is a similar density to stainless.  There are all kind of cool effects you can put into the actual glass from fuming and chroming and all kinds of color, there are even glow in the dark marbles that could be put in.  Anyway, kind of an off the wall idea, anyone think it would work?

Sure.  Lots of things catch rockfish and other fish.  John Klein of the Q105 trolled a bannana Peel to catch tuna one time.  A wire cage with dense shiny glass balls should be a real winner.  Flash and noise.
