I finally got my registration to work. I have been trying for almost a month but some kind of gremlin was messing things up. Thanks to Ricky and Polepole for the help. I have owned a kayak for a few months. It is an entry level Emotion Comet, my wife and I both have one. I am 51 and have not been fishing in many years. A long time ago I caught a couple sturgeon and a trout or two. Even though I don't have a kayak that is really suited to fishing, I would like to do what I can with it. Maybe some small lake and creek fishing. Eventually I would like to upgrade to a sit on top model. In fact I am working hard on winning the Malibu Stealth 12 on Paddling.net. I look forward to learning much about both fishing and kayaking. Thanks for a great forum. Ken

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan
