NCKA A great entity to be involved with!

 

   For me, I only visit a few forums on line, one is for my truck, one is for my on line gaming and 2 for kayaking & fishing, obviously this site and it's sister site NWKA (Cuz I'm up in Oregon currently) I don't do facebook, or twitter or any of the many other phone app messaging programs, and this got me to wondering.
   Out of the many kayaking and fishing sites I don't subscribe to or visit, how many of them can say that the people within those communities are as great as the people in this NCKA community?  How many forums do you know of that have raised $16,541 for one of their own, virtually,litterally a stranger to most, except for what they've read in posts or heard talk of about this guy.
   A few of us have been fortunate enough to actually fish with him, camp & freeze with him.  Of course I talking about our Mooch!
   With so many people on this site, I'm sure there are many kayaking forums that each of you may visit or have visited, in all these forums, how many of them have "Gone to bat for one of their own" like we have here for Joel?
    Truely a great site!

It's true - well said, Jeeperdude.  Don't forget about back in the day - the board collected dough and came together to support Chef Stefano too.  It's a good place.   

Amen Troy! And this is exactly why I take NCKA to heart and I hope that some day I can repay all the support and kindness that I have received from this close knit community of outdoorsmen
