I can't see the Triangle being any more fun than any other place I dive, and I know I would not feel comfortable diving there.
I dive the red triangle 'cause it's 2 1/2 miles from my house.

Diving for dungies is relatively easy, but kinda boring.  My waist bag fits about 6 legals & I've filled that quickly on a couple occasions.

Sometimes we toss a small buoy tethered to a mesh bag filled with scraps.  After diving, we check the bag before heading in & grab whatever crabs are around.  Low time requirement & a nice end-of-dive bonus.

I've also dove on traps before & grabbed a couple stragglers who were either on the outside on the sand or sitting on top of the trap, eating the hanging bait from the top.  I've also seen crabs burrow underneath the trap & eating the bait from underneath!

For productivity, can't beat traps for dungeness ;)

you can get dungeness in linda mar on the south side by the rocks in about 15 feet of water. some days there is nice and clear vis and other days there is no vis. there are also nice lings and a friend even saw lobster there. he was not lying, he took it home with him..
