Just posted this on Craigslist for $700, but for an NCKA'er I'd be willing to lower the price a bit.

1) D60 (including all of the stuff that comes in the box, but no box)
2) 18 - 55 MM (VR) Kit Lens
3) 55 - 200 MM (Non-VR)
4) Extra Battery
5) Singshot 100 AW camera bag
6) Nikon D60 Digital Field Guide

The camera has a 4 Year Best Buy extended warranty (expires 1/24/2013) which I think covers the camera and the 18 - 55 lens. I'm not sure that it's transferable, but if it is it's included.

What are you moving up to? I will pass your info on to a friend who is looking for a camera. Up to her to respond quickly.

Thanks Hojo. I appreciate it.  It's a good camera and has been taken care of.

I'm thinking I'm going to move up to the D90.  I thought about going full frame for a bit but I don't know if it's worth it to me.  I'll figure it out in a few days.

With Canon, going full frame means almost doubling the price of the 7D (from $1500 for the body to almost $3000). Not sure about the pricing for the Nikon. As much as I would like full frame, I'm not willing to pay the price...yet.

I want to get a decent camera someday... The price tags are pretty scary though  :smt009  I dont know squat about what to buy however.  Why are you trading up?  Dont know what full frame means...

If you insist...

I purposely added some noise (that's the grain) to the image...it's not that the camera takes grainy pictures.   :smt002

You can check out my flickr stream at http://www.flickr.com/photos/photoangle/ but I haven't posted many pics there.

Here's a pretty good article that describes the differences between a full frame senor vs. a cop sensor http://www.digital-photography-school.com/full-frame-sensor-vs-crop-sensor-which-is-right-for-you.

I haven't decided what I'm going to upgrade to yet though.  Going with a full frame camera like the D3 means not only the extra expense of the body itself but the expense of buying more expensive lenses.

The D60 is actually a really nice camera.  It gets pretty good reviews, is simple to learn, and easy to pack up and take with you.

If you're interested, make me a reasonable offer.  Even at $700 it's a pretty good deal, considering all that I'm including and the additional warranty.

You don't have to buy more expensive lens, unless you're after the image stabilization versions. My 75-210 white lens (Canon) set me back $1700 three years ago...it's much more expensive now. But it does exactly what it's supposed to do...eliminate camera shake (blurriness) in low lighting situations.
