Going up to Tahoe next weekend for check out a neices track meet.  I also booked a trip on the Reel Deal for Sunday morning, I'm hoping to put Omar on some fish.

Taking a look around for a hotel but I don't know the area too well.  Do you have any recommendations for something descent, not looking for fancy, at a reasonable price?

The meet is in Tahoe City and the Reel Deal seems to also take off from there.  I don't mind driving a little bit... I was thinking something around the Tahoe City, Kings Beach, or Crystal Bay areas.

I'm surprised Omar isn't dragging your lame ass down to party at Harrahs, its the spot.

Theres a couple old school swiss alps style chalets along 89.  Squaw isn't that far either, gotta be a bit of lodging there too.  Can't reccomend anything specific tho.

So what good are you. Prices at harrahs are a bit steep I think.

there's a few places along the road in Kings beach that look crappy but are actually decent at a reasonable price- when you turn east off 267 onto the lake road they're on teh left a bit down- One was called Tahoe pines or something.

Place SHOULD be totally empty- usually is this time of year

If you don't want to have to drive to the South shore, the Hyatt at Incline Village is nice---centrally located, and right next to Crystal Bay, might be a bit pricey but it is first rate.  I will be up near Heavenly all next week then heading to Reno for the air races on Sunday----you ought to check the race out if you have never done it!

stayed at the Peppertree not too bad it was priced very well right across from a public pier and nice park. Don't miss Fannie Bridge 1/4 mile walk
