The urchin lights are something I have never sen before. Really cool Jim

Ditto!  Definitely gonna try that with my daughter.

Uhhh... maybe we could get Jim a little arts & crafts forum section.   :smt003  for people like me who aren't doing much fishing these days.

Jim, let me know when you go diving next.  My abalone ration is getting low.  seriously!

Great work, Jim - love the urchins.  A good buddy of mine gave me a unique urchin light as a wedding gift - about 20 2-3" diameter shells stacked with a string of Christmas lights inside.  It was cool until it stopped working, and I've meant to re-create a new urchin light since.  Your post is good motivation to get that project going again - thx!

Figure if I am gonna bring these home I should treat them with respect and try and make the most out of each one...

I love that.  It's called sportsmanship in my book - well done!   :smt001

Dangit Jim.  You know how hard it is to hike a steep trail with those stabby mofos?  I saw some huge ones on the last dive.   After seeing this, all I want is urchin.
