The thing is though, is that I'm proud enough of my name to not hide behind a fish.

wth does this mean?

This reminds me of when I posted up about not having post titles like "Check this out!" or "This is so cool" - I caught some crap, and that's fine.  (I'm saving up my PAF so I can post "You've GOT to see this!!!!" and it'll be an eye chart or something...)

Scott - you've contributed plenty...  back in the day.  You might watch out for posting up something potentially contentious as one of your only posts in quite some time.  As for GB2's seeming ire pointed your way, I think an attitude of empathy and reconciliation is in order all around.

Legends of the Fall comes to mind...  When Adain Quin (sp?) takes out the corrupt lawmen to save Brad Pitt late in the flick the sense of pride and brotherhood swells.  The two hadn't seen eye to eye since F*$#ing World War I!!  But, in the end, they were brothers, and that was a strong force to wreckon with.

Some of us approach all of this with that kind of blood flowing through our hearts, and all of us have the option of joining in.  I know both Scotts, and I'd stand up for either of them based on what I've seen over the years.

(could someone please move this to the "Just More of Abking's Sappy Crap" forum?)

I do see him moving threads, but Señor agarcia and Allen (polepole) have also had me scratching my head thinking "what was the point". At any rate, the poll has spoken, I'm apparently overly sensitive to the issue. I guess it comes from being used to forums that are much more Laissez-faire.

Ohhhh....so you're attacking me now?  :smt003

I think I moved 2 threads to the dive section that were dive related....if I took the laissez-faire approach to these threads there would have been men rioting in the streets, women crying on streetccorners and children getting involved in all sorts of delinquent acts.  Is that the kind of world you wanna live in scott????   :smt003

I actually think I let alot of stuff fly, I'll take your comments into consideration though.

Hey Scott Thornley, aka thorn in NCKA's paw, here's a little helpful advice for you bro.....why don't you start your own kayakfishing website where you can run it the way you want instead of running down this one?
Totally lame thread.....moderators please delete this thread. jim

PS: The last guy on NCKA that complained about members using nicknames as usernames was banned.
And now we also have to worry about posting up too many attaboys? WTF?
Something to think about fella.....before you continue your whine-fest.  :smt006

WTF guys.  You're like a rabid pack of dogs.  To tell you the truth, us moderators often times hit situations where we are damned if we do and damned if we don't.  But you know what?  We know that.  We except that.  If someone gets upset.  Well, ok.  So?  Like Mr. Garcia says ... move along.
