Bam Boo Reef Abalone pot luck at salt point August 28th 9am

If you've been wanting to try abalone diving but don't know anyone to help you get started, then head out to the Salt Point State Park on Saturday, August 28th for a day of Ab diving, guidance, tips, and an abalone picnic! Our most experienced instructors and divers will be on hand to offer tips and show you the ropes of freediving, as well as how to clean and cook your catch! This is a potluck, so bring a dish or something to BBQ and take part in the abalone feast that afternoon!
 
Place:  South Gerstle Cove, Salt Point State Park
Date:   Saturday, August 28th, 2010
Time:   Meeting at 9 am, picnic starts about 1pm
Cost:    Free!! Just bring a dish or something to BBQ! (the $8 CA State Park day-use fee is not included)
Please RSVP so we know how many people to plan for!

Rental and Equipment Specials are available to those signed up!
Fishing License, Abalone Punch Card, and proper equipment are required.

I will be there.. I am such a newb... after joining NCUWH, I have learned so much from the veterans.

Long time no talk, Matt...  Had to tune out for a while due to arrival of my 2nd son.  I will be there!  How does Korean style BBQ wings sound?  I have a good recipe.
