Hello Mooch!

First let me add my apologies but follow that with encouragement and any help I can offer.

The company I work for is in the natural health industry. We Mfg. herbal extracts and phyto concentrates. Since my start with this company I have learned and adopted many natural healing practices. One of the main concepts is to treat the body as a whole instead of specifically treating the issue. While modern medicine will help with urgent treatment holistic health is good to help the body's immune system and overall function increase.

There are many herbs I could suggest like Astragalus, Reishi mushroom and Cordyceps to name a few. Easier to obtain consumables would be things like berries, (blueberry/blackberries), Vitamin C and Green Tea. I chomp on blueberries everyday. I drink 3-4 glasses of green tea and get 1500mg of Vit. C per day. Some will argue this isnt necessary but I havent had so much as a cold since I started consuming these items everyday.

If your in to trying any herbs to help with overall immune function or just want to try some stuff to help the body fight off harmful agents I can put some stuff together for you. Our product is a water soluble powder that can be mixed with any juice or water of your choice. If your not into herbs I would suggest consuming berries and green tea daily. If you already do this your greatly helping your body in the best way you can, IMO.

Our normal pack sizes are 25kg and we dont sell retail so I'm not trying to sell you anything here. I'd be snagging some sample packs for you and if you liked it could just continue to send you samples. 50 grams of each will last a while.

Let me know if your into it and I'll put something together for you.

Recover quickly Mooch and keep a positive energy about you.

I briefly worked at a company called Matthias Rath Inc. that also made and made and sold vitamins.  They claimed that cancer is really a lot like scurvy, which is known treatable by vitamin C.  They believed that you need extremely high doses of C, not really what you find over the counter.  To purchase the vitamins from them, required a doctors consultation basically to determine the correct regiment.

Anyway, I'd talk with you doctor about it, since you mentioned that your not taking any supplements.  :smt002

Hey I'll try anything. However, because I'm on daily Coumadin medication (for my Pulmonary Embolism), I have to try and avoid foods high in Vitamin K because it promotes blood clotting - such as:
Brocolli
Brussel Sprouts
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Garbanzo Beans
Green Tea
Lentils
Lettuce
Liver
Seaweed
Soybeans
Spinach
Turnip Greens
Avocado

I also cannot consume the Herbal Supplements:
Ginko Biloba
Feverfew
Garlic
Ginger
Quinine
Ginseng
Alfalfa
...because it may alter how effectively the medication works.

Thank you for the offer! And I truly appreciate your help and concern!

Thank you Mooch for the information. I'll forward this to our Tech Director and get his take. Once we have a suggestion you can run it by your doc if you want to try the extracts. Lots of good greens in there that are off limits.  :smt012 But, we'll work with what we can and get something good for ya!

I dont see any of the mushrooms I mentioned on there, so that is good.
