I just found out about a problem with AOTY this morning, it's not allowing people to enter new fish.   I looked into it and would you believe it's Twitter's fault. I use the Twitter API to populate the Twitter and Facebook feeds from AOTY.  Anyway, they changed the terms of service on my and I need to reconfigure some things to get it to work again.  Until then the Twitter failure is causing a general upload error.

I'll post back here when I get it fixed.

Not sure if I did something wrong, but added two fish last night, and my score dropped instead of increased.   :smt012

I think the formula took into account the A-Hull factor, which does an inverse negative mathematical thingamajiggy.   :smt044

Al -Same thing happened to me a few weeks back. Someone explained that the problem seems to be that if you add a fish that has the same AOTY point value as a fish already posted, then the program seems to subtract the value of the 2 fish instead of add the second fish.  Easy temporary fix is to add 0.01" to the second fish and it will correct the problem.

ah so that's why you did it, i thought that your flounder was that size as a tiebreaker with o2b! makes sense.

Hi Al - sorry, I wasn't clear.  I don't think anybody has posted on the problem till now. Someone sent me a PM that explained it when I had the same issue.  Didn't mean to imply that you missed it.  Take care - John
