Tarpon dual hatch tankwell insert

Hey all,
   Do any of you know how much one of those old inserts is worth? I found one. The guy said make offer. Also, those that have seen or used one, what do you think about them. I know it will never be like a true tankwell.

Rob, send Agarcia a PM....I sold him my T-160 with the tankwell insert....not sure if he really uses it.

Mine is not for sale....but I'd offer 60 and be willing to pay up to a bill for one. IMO, tankwells are way more useful than a rear hatch.  The good thing about the older DH is that the hatches are long and you can easily stow longer rods and spearguns in them. With the tankwell insert the boats capability and user friendliness instantly increase. I'd buy it.

Thats the info I was looking for. I was just getting ready to PM you and saw this. I keep wishing I had the TW. I'll offer 60 Plus shipping and see what happens. 

Be careful with the tankwell insert in the surf. It doesn't drain.

Been in the ocean twice. Not too worried about being there too often. Thanks for the advice though.

Received my tankwell yesterday. I'm glad you guys told me to get it. Not used yet, but i see how nice it will be. Just wish the hatch would fit on it. That way it becomes a big ice chest.  This will make it easier to get to a few things I need that were stored inside before. Hope it seals good like the hatch covers. I wish the hatch covers were as strong, thick, as the TW.

I have a few fiberglassing projects coming up....was gonna make a hatch cover with my leftover materials.

Let us know how that project comes out.
