I spend more time rigging the kayak than actually fishing with it.  It has a fully operational bait tank that can keep a 1/4 scoop of anchovies alive all day.  It has two 7AH batteries (one for FF and one for the bait pump).  One of these days if the wind stops blowing I'll launch from Bezerkley or Marina Bay in Richmond.

NICE. I am working on one out of a 3.5 gal bucket. I am torn between the deluxe battery operated one. Or low tech using the hand bilge pump. kinda like the one in the new OK ultra 4.7. So many projects in "the lab" to do

One thing I'd like to point out is that a center hatch on a P-15 is a no-no if your a heavy guy like myself. At 230 pounds plus all my gear on board, the waterline will reach the center hatch and water will seep in - unless you really do a good job gooping around the hatch before install.

And as far hatches are concerned, you are better off staying away from the screw in hatch. When sand get's in the grooves, you'll find it almost impossible to open that hatch. Go with the toggle hatch instead. Happy pimping!

Top tip for the P15 - if you dont have a rudder, or dont plan on adding one, move the rear handle to the end of the kayak.
