I made a post on NWKA when someone wanted to know how to do a FF rig w/ the trans non-shoot through but directly in the water. I posted a rig one of our members (coosbayyakker) made and remembered just how much of a cool rig it is. I thought I'd post it over here just incase anyone was interested.

The entire rig is self contained w/ the batteries in the grey box and cables running through the PVC. The post on the bottom fits in the cup holder on the Hobie Outback and keeps it in place. An easily stowable no-drill application.

Heck yeah, I may modify this, especially if I stick with my tarpon AND my portable FF. I like the pvc tube idea...

Woooo, that is cool.  Please tell more about the grey parts the the tube or post entering the hobie drink holder, what are these parts, how do they all come together?

Great application!  I've been thinking about something like that for some time, but it'll have to suit the X-Factor.  Thanks for posting it.   :smt001

It's not my rig so I don't know about the materials etc.. If you have questions you can direct them to coosbayyakker on NWKA.org

Above is a PM address for CBY - I don't know if you have to register at NWKA to make it go.
