My rigged X-Factor and Pro-Explorer

I bought my X-Factor with a flushmount on the left side which works very well as well as the two flushmounts behind the seat.  I later decided to add a Matrix 17 and a Scotty rod holder on the right side.  I also added a stick on ruler.

I mounted everything below my feet so I have freedom to swing my feet around without hitting anything as well as room for big fish.

I replaced the stock single bungie with several different length bungies that I got from the hardware store.  I find that this gives me more freedom to secure mutiple different items in my tankwell such as an ice chest and bait bucket.  I keep my tackle and anything else I need to keep secure in my large center hatch so I don't need a milkcrate in the rear.

I added a Scotty rod holder to my Pro-Explorer.  Since I wanted to keep the deck open my only option was the flat area below the footwells.  I mounted it off to the right side to leave room for a fishfinder or another rod holder in the future.



The thule top deck saddles fit both of my kayaks well once adjusted and I can fit them both side by side on top of my S-10 Blazer.

Travis I guess you'd be the one to ask. Which one of your yaks do you like better, X-factor or the pro xploer.
I have a pro x and have had it for about 4 years. I like it and have never really had any problems other than a wet seat. But it doesn't really trac very well because of the lack of a keel, you know, there more flat bottom. I assume that it causes more drag then a boat with more keel to it.
Then I paddled with a guy that had a X factor and it looked like a nice set up. I like the big tank well in the back. So which one do you prefer to use.
