For those of you who don't know who he is, Mike Watt played bass for the Minutemen, fIREHOSE, and on tour for Iggy Pop and the Stooges.  The man is a living legend.

He's also a kayaker.

Thanks for the link Eric. Still have my Double Nickels on the Dime vinyl and all the rest. Mike Watt sure looks alot older since the last time I saw him about 15 years ago playin with Firehose here in SoCo. One of the best bass players ever and that's cool he's a fellow yakker.
