Craig, I feel for ya. Small thread jack. I once was picking up my daughters boyfriend ( he had no car) to take him to a job (that I gave him). I pulled up in the driveway honked and waited.
I then got out of the truck(his first mistake of the day) and walked to the front door. The bedroom window was before the door, load music 6:45AM, (second mistake of the day) I knock loudly on bedroom wall. He yells back (3rd mistake of the day) "NOT NOW" (4Th mistake of the day and he and MY daughter were not out of bed yet (if you get my drift). I got back in the truck and drove to the Office and waited. 705:AM the phone rings and it's butthead asking if I was going to pick him up. I tell him I was already there and was told "NOT NOW" yelling this into the phone and hanging up. He showed up 15 min later on his Bicycle (surprised me). I was using him as a shop rat that day so evertime he would finish he would peek just his head in the door for another task and I would yell (you guessed it) "NOT NOW" I think he thought I was going to Eat him. (almost did) Sooo the morale of the story is "If the kid just loses you fishing pole, count your blessings."
