Fishing Del Valle 6/30

Went fishing at DV yesterday with Frankfishing, newbie (Bill) and Tiny.  Bill caught a striper and Frank caught a Largemouth bass.  Like always I practiced C&R.  I've released more bait in that lake than anywhere else However, all was not lost yesterday since I got some good lessons from Frank on how and where to fish for stripers in DV.  Had a great time fishing with Frank, Bill and Tiny Steve.  It was a great day to take a day off and just be on the water.  Here is a video that kinda sums up our day.

Really a great day at Del with Bill (newbie), lapulapu (Rey) and Tiny. Introduced Bill to Kayak fishing and meet two other NCKA folk who I will say are true Yakers. Caught a large mouth, that the wife just loves in black bean sauce, and missed two nice take downs later in the day. Also intro. these guys to free lining for stripers at some of my favorite spots to include Valentine Cove that is a favorite of Mooch and I.

Sorry bro, not sure why you can't open it.  Maybe your browser is blocking youtube's videos.  I will be in Capitola on Monday but because my brother and his friend don't have yaks, I will be taking my boat.  We will be launching at SC and drift towards Capitola.  Hope to be on the water by 6.  Danny SuperD will also be joining us.  I'll have my radio on 69 so hail us when you get there.  We will have plenty of beer in the cooler and adobo for lunch.
