Several days ago I lost the tip half of a favorite ultralight spinning rod. Damn, what good is half a favorite rod?!! I've had this rod for over 10 years. I get in touch with Loomis and it turns out that there is a program, (Expeditor), where you can send in a damaged Loomis rod, pay $50, and they ship you a brand new replacement.
Thank you Loomis!
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

That's one of the main reasons I own more than a dozen of G-Loomis rods!  Glad you still got the "bottom" half  :smt003

St Croix will also replace a broken rod for $50. The cool thing is that if you have a custom rod, they will reconstruct a new tip to match the butt section. Loomis will also do this I believe. I don't make Loomis rods anymore because they don't sell blanks anymore and the cost of the blanks were pretty high.  :smt013 All that said, nothing casts like a Loomis and I have a few in my quiver.

I LOVE loomis rods ....hate to say it but I already lost 2 of my best trout fishing rods :smt013 Don't ask me how  :smt075

Anyway, I have an inside tip about some SF ex baseball player selling all his "quality" trout gear....hoping to snag a loomis for cheap....wish me luck! (I'm only bringing $50.00 to haggle with)

Hey Juan - can I borrow yours? :smt002
