Haha, you guys are hilarious. Instead of man vs. fish, it's man vs. inanimate object.

You'll probably see us again at the end of June. We might go up again for abalone/sea urchins and will probably go fishing again depending on the swells. It does seem like there are small lings all over the place. For every ling that we hooked up, there was at least 2 or 3 other bites that didn't stick.

Oh, forgot to add that we also tried crabbing on the docks, but no keepers. Seems like just not a good year for crabbing and we'd have to wait until next year. Or is every year like this?

If you felt an actual tug, and it happened three times, then it could have been an octopus. They have no problem holding on the jigs and weights without getting hooked. They just need a little surface area to grab on to, and once their curiosity is satiated, they will just let go.

Was there couple weeks ago with Jimbo and in the eve first night got to legal on first two pulls than...sort of forgot about it...actually I was using a pot, and they told me I couldn't in the river... so I pulled um and let um sit on the dock for a few days...said only crab rings in the river...local intel says to start at the dock and work your way up river up to two miles...haven't tried it yet...guy said u wouldn't believe how many he got...if your there for the albion gig u might try it...good luck...

It's all about Today!!! Because who knows what tomorrow will bring... so Better get OTW n GetSome
