I'm looking to fish the EKG on Sunday.  Weather looks pretty good.  I'd prefer to do the beach launch in front of the site, but could paddle down from Bean if it gets more 'swelly'.  Alternatively, I could fish Jaws (north of Bean) if people prefer.

I think obkook, bill and dustin could be in - looking for more company.

I owe a report on Pigeon from last Sunday.  It was ok - Dustin caught more fish than me, though.  And I did bring my camera...

Yep, gonna try to make it.

I have some baby points accumulated from thousands of diaper changing built up that I plan on cashing in. I also received a triple bonus award for taking cleanup detail when the brown cannon overshot the pampers backstop during an equipment swap. Not pretty...
Just a walleye fisherman from MN tryin' ta get salty!

OK - there are three launch points to get to the EKG...

The first is the beach right off of Pigeon Point Road.  The link is here:

Note, this is the first point where Pigeon Point Road intersects with Highway 1 if you are heading south.

The upside of launching here is we are 1/2 mile from the EKG reef.  The downside is it is a beach launch, and can get hairy if it is big.  Sunday is supposed to be small, but you never know.

I recommend we scope this out at 6:30'ish, and if it's launchable, do it.  Otherwise, we can go to the lighthouse and paddle around, or the Bean and paddle down.  My preference is for the lighthouse.

See you on Sunday.  NOTE THE EARLIER TIME.  Obkook needs to get off the water by noon.

Bassbay - you don't need a cart.  The beach is right in front of where we park.  We'll help you carry the yak down.

Bring swim baits, and maybe knife jigs / speed jigs.  I'd say 5" swim baits with 3 oz. heads.

Also - bring a drift sock if you have one...

Have fun guys.  I can't make it now.  My wife wants to go out paddle boarding, so I am going to Capitola.
Good luck.  I want to see some pictures.
