CCK would be my choice, but as an alumni I'm biased :smt002

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys although it is a bit of a stretch for California Canoe & Kayak to be considered as part of the "North Bay"! Our roots are there having been in Greenbrae from 1972 through 1985...

Jack London Square in Oakland is a great place to demo kayaks: free parking on weekends, Heinhold's Saloon for an after paddle beer and great restaurants nearby, as well as CCK! We have a dock launch and plenty of water in the Estuary to wring out a boat.

This weekend begins our Fall Sale - moved up this year into August because of the economy. Sale is at both stores, Rancho Cordova and Oakland. Oakland has on-the-water demos of course.

Our sale this year starts with over 800 new and used kayaks and canoes spread among our locations. Of these at least half can be defined as fishing kayaks and canoes. Brands includes Hobie, Legacy Paddlesports (Native Watercraft and Heritage), Feel Free, Current Designs, Wenonah, Jackson and Hurricane. These are all Manufacturers owned and operated by paddlers, with boats built by paddlers. Here you will find the best quality and most concentrated selection of private, paddler owned brands in California, by choice. Sale general details can be found on our home page www.calkayak.com

I hope to see some of you at the store this weekend. Cheers - Keith
