...at Nimbus Flats, Lake Natoma (Folsom Lake State Recreation Area), 9 to 3. On Sunday - big Father's Day sale at CCK Rancho Cordova.

Greetings fellow NCKAers - so as not to reinvent the wheel details can be found at www.calkayak.com Everything you need to know is on the homepage. Hobie, Feel Free and Legacy Paddlesports fishing kayaks will be among those featured.

This is the last major paddling festival of the spring and 2nd only in boat selection to the regional Bay Area Paddlefest held last month in Fremont. CCK only carries kayaks and canoes manufactured by paddlers: company owners and builders are also users. This is one of several things that sets us apart and reflects my commitment to paddle sport. If you are searching around for your 1st or a 2nd craft, or have friends looking to get into the sport, you should be at Paddlefest this Saturday. The $10 fee also covers paddling skills clinics throughout the day making this event a real bargain for the novice paddler.

I could use up to 6 safety/boundary boaters. These boaters should be well versed in assisted rescues and willing to work a single 2-hour shift either 9-11, 11-1 or 1-3. Safety boaters will be issued wrist bands to test
paddle for free when not on duty. If you will volunteer for this please contact me.

I look forward to seeing you at Paddlefest 2010!

Cheers - Keith
