Thats a Great vid. I dont really care for the wiring to come out of the hatch like that but that can be done another way. The in- hull mount with the grease is really cool.

I tried the grease or vasaline trick once and found it ends up making a hell of a mess inside the yak. If you transport your boat upside down it ends up everywhere in the boat. Especially if your in some high temps that melts it to a near liquid. After that lesson, I just use the water in a tight fitting foam donut I cut out of knee pad foam. It's much denser and firmer than noddle foam. All I have to do is put a couple tablespoons of water in before I go and it works flawlessly. I keep a water bottle with a squirt top that is easy to aim the water into the donut.
