Size 2 hook, 20# fluoro, perfection loop, hooked from the bottom up through both lips.  I'm probably up shite creek with a paddle if I get into a big striper or hali with a light hook like I use, but I get many more bites that way, so I'm staying with it.

bullheads do get bitten by Halibuts. Nice day out, when no pier casters are there and you get one right there.
