OP, 05-15-2010 - Skunkola

Shannon and I launched the kayaks out of OP on Saturday around 0630 in an attempt for some butts.  The wind had us drifting towards Oakland so it was impossible to drift the contour lines.  Shannon  had one take down and that was it.  Still not bad for the first launch of the year and it felt freaking great just to be on the water.

I was thinking about a Thurs trip to OP....wonder if this cold front shut the door? bait or plastics?

First time this year Tom? You'll have your fair share soon enough.

Drifting dead herring, next time i am gonnna go net some live bait the day before now that i have a spot close to work to do that.

Yeah Jed, first trip.  Had to go slow this year due to Shannon's surgery.  It was a good trip as far as launching and paddling went so we are good to go for another round soon.   

Glad you had fun on the water and i hope the fish show for ya next time.
