The dynamic duo return for another year, I met up with Joe aka-Bloodbath for our first day back on the water for 2010. We had some great weather and great times, but the fish were not cooperating for us, or we were a little rusty, or maybe a little of both. Anyhow we ran into some good guys from the club and some other guys out fishing off their yaks. Akimo was king of the day with his brute of a ling; interesting bands and markings on this ling to be sure. Great meeting everyone and look forward to more fishing again. Mike

Thanks for the report Mike. That's some marking on the fish. It looks like it's
been married three times. :smt003

that's a trippy pattern on the ling, like a bluegill crossed with a juvie WSB  or something.  looks like you guys were doing some serious dawn patrol.

Mike,

Great meeting you and Joe at the beach and thanks for posting my picture w/ Bob C.  That's me in the yellow jacket.  It started out slow for us but fishing picked up after 12PM.  I ended with a keeper ling and 8 rockies. Let go a shorty ling and a bunch of small rock cod. At one time there were 4 spearfishermen that tied up 30 feet from me and did their thing.  Hope to see you guys again soon!
