I'm assuming you meant to write 5/3, not 3/5: What a difference a day makes!  Today I was out there with about 6-8 more yakkers and though I paddled out around the point, it was very bumpy out there, and even at 9:30 the wind was blowing inside the cove.  Amazingly, guys were showing up at noon and launching.
In one of your pics you can see the tents for "some" golf tourney.    I've never seen so many tents and huge bleachers set up around Pebble.  It looked like a refugee camp.   This golf stuff is catching on, pretty soon it'll be bigger than kayak angling!

My temporary work schedule is from Tuesday through Saturday.  So I get Sunday and Monday off.

Good eyes Tom.  I finished the post around midnight so I was in a hurry to go to bed since I had to get up real early the next day to beat the traffic jam at Walnut Creek and Sunol Grade!

Thanks for the report Sonny. Great pictures, they are really starting to feed the fever to get out there and fish. I think I saw you guys heading down there Monday morning. I passed a silver SUV in Walnut Creek on my way to work in Pleasanton trailering two kayaks, one of them an orange Hobie. My brother and I are planning on trying this spot on Friday. Glad to hear the work situation has improved.

Thanks again for the report,
Ray
