Another Pigeon report 5/8

Got there 6:45 to pretty flat and calm conditions. Waited til others arrived before heading out. Emerson (not sure screen name) showed first so we headed down the stair and paddled south. Wind started picking up some. First pic is a blue (I think) and my first fish caught on the ocean from a yak, also first rockfish so I sent her back down for good karma. It was tough to do because I promised my wife fish tacos for dinner, but I had to do it.

Not much happening after that so I headed back to the lighthouse, wind going pretty good now. I had one pretty mean take down by a bait thief but wasn't able to produce. Started working my way south again then got a little tug, then another, fish on. Get the bad boy to the surface and realize what it is. The other pics tell the story. It measured out at 32in. 2nd fish caught in the ocean from a yak and its a solid one. Cheers to Karma. Nice meeting you guys that were out also. Emerson, Dustin, Bill and a few others.
