Sunday morning my alarm went off...dam less than two hours sleep after an adrenaline filled night. I jump up brew some high octane coffee, finish making lunch and head off to pick up RB. I back into his driveway and all is quiet. Funny because usually all his stuff is in the driveway and he is just back from walking the dog. The first knock on the door yields no response....second knock wakes up Tessa (the dog) which in turn wakes up it's owner.
Within minutes we are heading down the road noticing the trees are already swinging in the breeze. We still manage to meet up with Naoaki before the gates open. A quick launch and we are off. As I enter the main part of the lake by the dam the wind seems to come and go. Every time the lake would flatten out for a minute I would hear some dick on the radio  making a comment on how the weather was improving. Moments later the wind waves would build again.
Managing one fish and losing another I retreated to the coves to get shelter from the wind. Craig found a spot by the docks where some bass were holding so I quickly nudged (literally) my kayak alongside for some action. Even with the shelter of the coves and docks the wind was a real PITA. The fishing slowed and the caffeine wore off so it was time to call it a day. Another Beautiful Day On The Water with Great Friends.

Note: if you are going up to LB do it soon as the lake lice and jet skis are already out in force. It's bad enough the  ski boats blast their C'Rap music for all to hear but now the jet skis have ghetto blasters too.
