I go on Big Water's Edge which is pretty awesome for La Jolla specific kayak fishing. That's my favorite forum down here. I've seen a few of the dudes from NCKA on there occasionally (Ravensblack, ChuckE for example). I've checked out the site you mention but haven't posted or created an account there. I'll have to check it out. Do you go on it or know folks on it? Just wondering where the recommendation comes from? And thanks for all the props guys, still thinking about this day! If any of you guys ever come down and want to fish, let me know. I can't claim to know much compared to some of the regulars that have been fishing here a awhile, but hey, comraderie is always good!

yeah im on that sight, dont post much since i live in northern California, but those guys are almost like the sister family to NCKA.  They all do the ocean fish thing, defiantly worth checking out.
