The wind is looking favorable for the ~4mile paddle out to 200' to mooch for a Chinook.  Of course stop short if bait is marked.  Anyone else doing this?

Would consider your invite next time. I think salmon is still running very deep and far out. Will wait till they come closer. Meanwhile, RF fishing opens tomorrow and for sure, I'll come home with some if not limits.

I've plotted the lat lons of previous catches of salmon from Santa Cruz/Moss Landing area around Soquel Hole. If you're interested, pm me and I will email it to you.
Good luck.

Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in
    the mouth.
Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the
    best.
