Horseshoe cove Sunday

Made it to the parking area at the North end of Horseshoe  Cove by 7:45 and there was one parking spot left. 12 cars. Nobody around.  Everybody already down at the beach.  I suit up and traverse down the creek to find 25 rock pickers all speaking another language.  I hooked up with a diver from El Cerrito and tried for some Rock fish.  No luck unless I wanted a Sea Trout or small China Cod.  Vis was about 6'.  The rock pickers were getting slammed but the water was glassy at 25'.  Hopefully hook up with some NCKA'ers on another dive. 

I wish I could of been there but I was testing with Berkely Fire Dept. Any decent size to your abs? Is this the parking spot by the Eucalyptus Trees and the rundown barn? I am gonna miss that location.

Horseshoe cove is a couple of miles past the eucalyptus trees.  The South edge of the Richardson ranch.  No Abs.  One look at that trail and I don't think I could have carried any back up.  There were some nice deep abs there.  Dcbatt

Thought we were gonna see another pic with a lingcod and a big red! Good try though, will dive together soon.
