Sonny,
Sorry to hear of your gear loss :smt010.  Hopefully it will be found by a decent person and returned.  I'll add another $20 to Dave's with the no lap dance stipulation :smt044. :smt044
Good things happen to good people!  I'm hoping you get it all back soon.

Martin

Nice stripers Sonny, but no catfish?  :smt003

You better pick up a kitty soon so the gear Gods will be more kind :smt001

I posted pics above but lost the text first time I tried posting this morning. (was in a rush to get out of the house.)

sonny,

good fishing with you yesterday..
sorry I didn't crosscheck the dock yesterday when we departed..

yesterday was a wierd day for gear for us....I dropped my VHF into the water right at launch..I thought I secured it to my pocket in my PFD but evidently not...
I specifically bought a JS7  (Cobra ...submersible 1 meter for 30 minutes) radio just for this type of thing....in hindsight...I wish I removed the battery upon recovery and let it dry out in the car...but I was curious to see if it would perform as advertised.. it has 3 yr warr. so hopefully Cobra can fix it for me.

as penence for spending all day on the water yestersday.. I agreed to let the wife off today to go whacking at the range...and I'd watched the kids.. so what better thing to do than go right back onto the water..
I brought the kids over to nearby San Pablo Dam to bang out some trout.

so I spent the last 17 hours out of the past 36 on the water..whew..thank god I picked up some work on thursday so I can get some rest.

Thank you for sharing family outing with us Dave.  Hope the kids love fishing as much as their dad  :smt003
