Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I unintentionally made what appeared to be a very insensitive comment and would like to apologize to anyone I offended and clarify my comment.  The support for fighting breast cancer by paddling from Catalina was incredible in itself and the person who did it is a true hero in my book.  The appearance of the whale and its amazingly positive impact on the fund raising is also incredible.  I did not mean to minimize the tremendous effort of the individual and the personal sacrifice she made in support of this very worthy cause.  I think the wording of my original post failed to convey the positivity of my thoughts.  The whale was certainly not the most significant or the only incredible thing about this event.

Martin, didn't even notice! but thanks for trying to set it straight.  :smt001
Just to clarify, I believe RH was referring to comments at the end of the actual article. We'll leave that alone.
Bottom line - the paddle was a good cause & it was amazing for the whale to show up & behave as it did.

Ya, I was referring to how brainwashed some people still are in this day and age.  :smt011

And I'll leave it at that.
