Ivory?

I found this specimen on the beach after a dive. I think its A Elk tooth. What do you think it is?

Pedottis Ranch used to have tons of sheep all through that property where you were. There are no Elk in that area. There are tons of coastal deer around there. How long is that molar? Your new talisman. If you start mooing we will know. BaaaaaaaaaaBaaaaaaaaaaaaa

during minus tide beachcombing in socal I've found a few that look identical. I always figured they were cattle teeth.
