Planning a trip on Saturday, word is, the bite is WFO.  Toplining cast masters is the ticket I guess.  Cohos average around 15" with an occassional hold over going to 5#'s.  I might have my kids so will be trading kayaks out frequently, but should be a blast.

Cohos are landlocked silver salmon.  They are in the main body of lake oroville.  They are good fighting fish on light tackle, and very tasty.  Blood pink meat.

I was out there last w/e on the HB and we caught a bunch right off the back of the HB, it was a blast.  We were using minnows down about 20'  And yes there yummie.  Can't wait until there in the 16-18" range that's going to be fun.

Were you rigging the minnows up on like a drop shot?

We were just using a minnow with a small split slot about 3' ft up the line.
